Custom Overhead Cupboards and Shelving in Tunbridge Wells

For this property in Tunbridge Wells, we fitted a custom overhead joinery bridge between two existing tall storage cabinets. The new work combines enclosed overhead cupboards, open shelving and a dedicated wine fridge opening, finished in deep navy blue to match the flanking units.

Custom Shaker Top-Box Cupboards with Matching Cornice

The bridge spans the gap between the tall cabinets, with four Shaker-style doors across the overhead top-box cupboards. Matching cornice moulding runs along the top, continuing the decorative detail of the flanking cabinets.

We fitted polished silver-coloured round metal knobs to the cupboard doors. The carcass, shelves and Shaker fronts have a smooth painted finish, colour-matched to the existing cabinetry.

Custom Open Shelving and Wine Fridge Housing

On the left, we incorporated open display and book shelves beneath the overhead cupboards. This section provides accessible space for books and display pieces below the enclosed storage.

A dedicated under-counter aperture houses the wine fridge beneath the shelves. The opening was incorporated into the fitted section, bringing the appliance space and shelving together beneath the bridge.
