Custom TV Cabinet, Bookcase and Window Storage in Silvertown, London

For this home in Silvertown, Newham, London, we built a low TV cabinet, a tall open bookcase and a fitted window bench with storage. Each unit was made to measure for the living room, combining open shelving and enclosed cupboards in a matching white finish.

White TV Cabinet and Tall Open Bookcase

The custom TV cabinet has a two-door base cupboard for media equipment. Handleless, flush-front slab doors and concealed soft-close hinges give the cabinet a simple, modern appearance.

The tall open bookcase provides six shelving tiers for books and display pieces. Together, the two units combine accessible shelving with enclosed media storage.

Four-Door Window Bench with Built-In Storage

Beneath the window, we fitted a long, low bench with four cupboard doors. Central dividers and intermediate shelves organise the interior into separate storage compartments. The bench fits beneath the sill, using the window wall for additional living room storage.

We made all three units from white melamine-faced MDF with matching edge-banding. The pre-finished surfaces are easy to wipe clean, and the cabinetry was fully finished and installed without requiring painting.
