Custom Wardrobes and Kitchen Storage in Leatherhead, Surrey

For this home in Leatherhead, Surrey, we designed and built MDF wardrobes and added storage to the existing kitchen. The project included two double wardrobes and a longer fitted run of three double wardrobe sections. Drawers, shelves and hanging compartments provide generous storage for the client’s clothing.

Fitted MDF Wardrobes with Shaker-Style Doors

The two double wardrobes sit on either side of a doorway, while the larger six-door installation forms a continuous fitted run. All the wardrobes have matching Shaker-style doors, with four recessed panels on each tall door and round knobs.

Inside, our custom wardrobes combine hanging rails, shelving and built-in drawers. Shelves above the rails provide upper storage, while lower compartments contain drawers or additional shelves. One section has two columns of shelving above two stacks of drawers, creating separate spaces for folded clothes and smaller belongings alongside the hanging areas.

Additional Drawers and Shelving for the Existing Kitchen

In the kitchen, we fitted two MDF drawers and shelves inside an existing cabinet. The drawers pull forward for access, while the shelves above divide the remaining cupboard space. The original cabinet and its doors remained in place.

We also added wall-mounted MDF shelves for open storage. Together, the internal fittings and wall shelves increased storage within the existing kitchen.
