Custom Wardrobes and Fitted Storage in Cranleigh, Surrey

For this home in Cranleigh, Surrey, we built fitted wardrobes, under-stairs storage and two additional kitchen units. The project combines cherry-veneered MDF, MDF interiors and decorative door mouldings, with storage for clothing, household belongings and kitchen supplies.

Custom Wardrobes with Cherry Veneer and Decorative Mouldings

The larger custom wardrobe comprises three double sections with MDF interiors and a cherry-veneered MDF exterior. We made the beading and mouldings for the Shaker-style doors, adding framed details around each panel. A taller central section sits between two lower side units beneath the sloping ceiling.

Inside, hanging rails, drawers and shelves provide separate spaces for clothing. The compartments include hanging areas above drawers, shelving beside a hanging rail and upper storage beneath the ceiling slope. We also built another large wardrobe with generous hanging space and decorative pine mouldings on its doors.

Under Stairs Storage with Pull-Out Sections

Downstairs, we fitted under-stairs storage along the slope of the staircase. The installation includes pull-out sections, pull-out shelves and enclosed compartments, with beading and decorative mouldings on the fronts.

The pull-outs bring their contents forward, making items stored deeper beneath the staircase easier to reach. Separate compartments divide the available space into accessible storage areas.

Tall Shelved Cupboard and Fitted Fridge Surround

In the kitchen, we made a tall, narrow cupboard with internal shelves, matching the door details of the existing kitchen cabinetry. We also built a fitted fridge surround with a cupboard above, adding enclosed storage over the appliance.
