Custom Double Home Office and Storage in Gypsy Hill, London

For this property in Gypsy Hill, London, we built a wall-to-wall custom home office with two workstation bays and a central storage cabinet. The symmetrical design gives each desk its own shelving and cubbies, with enclosed cupboards between the work areas.

Custom Twin Workstations with Concealed Shelving

The two outer workstation bays each include a desktop with cable ports, a knee-hole space, side cubbies and upper shelving. Each working area combines desk space with storage for books, paperwork and smaller items.

Full-height doors conceal the upper shelving when closed. Flush slab fronts give the doors a simple, consistent appearance across the suite.

Custom Central Cupboard with Multi-Tier Storage

The central cabinet contains several storage tiers behind upper and lower double doors. These separate cupboard sections provide enclosed storage between the two workstation bays.

We made all carcasses, shelving, desktops and flush slab doors from cabinet-grade standard MDF, fitting metal European concealed cup hinges inside the cabinetry.

We sanded the surfaces and left the MDF unpainted and unsealed, ready for primer and the final topcoat.
