Custom Three-Door Fitted Wardrobe in Richmond, London

For this home in Richmond, we built and fitted a floor-to-ceiling MDF wardrobe with three classic recessed-panel doors. The interior combines hanging space, fixed shelving and three wooden drawers, with separate compartments for different clothing storage needs.

Custom MDF Wardrobe with Recessed-Panel Doors

The three tall doors give this custom fitted wardrobe a consistent panelled front, with round knobs for opening each section. The MDF was left unpainted, ready for priming and painting to match the room’s décor.

Behind the left and centre doors, the double compartment contains an upper storage shelf and a hanging rail spanning its width. At the bottom, a low box shelf creates a raised storage surface with an open compartment beneath it.

Fixed Shelving and Three Internal Wooden Drawers

The single compartment on the right contains several fixed shelves above three internal pull-out wooden drawers. The shelves provide space for folded clothing, while the drawers keep smaller items together and bring their contents forward for access.

All three drawers sit behind the right-hand wardrobe door, keeping them concealed when the wardrobe is closed. This separates the shelved and drawer storage from the double hanging compartment alongside it.
