Custom Loft Wardrobe and Concealed Kitchenette in Hobbayne, London

For this home in Hobbayne, London, we built a custom loft wardrobe and a concealed kitchenette with matching timber-framed doors. The fitted storage follows the sloping roofline, combining hanging space, open shelving and internal drawers.

Custom Shaker Wardrobe with a Pull-Out Storage Bay

The wardrobe wall features five Shaker-style doors with two-tier panel detailing. We used solid timber frames with inset panels for the doors and durable 18mm MDF for the internal carcass.

Inside, the custom wardrobe combines open shelving, stacked internal drawers and a polished metal hanging rail. Low eave access doors retain access beneath the roof slope.

A pull-out wardrobe bay runs on heavy-duty bottom-mounted linear slide rails, bringing the storage forward for access. Full-extension runners support the internal drawers, while concealed 35mm Euro hinges provide soft-close operation for the hinged doors.

Custom Concealed Kitchenette with Matching Double Doors

The concealed kitchenette sits within a tall double-door armoire. Its solid timber-framed doors match the wardrobe suite, keeping the mini kitchen nook concealed when closed.

We built the internal cabinet shell from moisture-resistant MDF, incorporating upper shelving and a worktop with matching protective upstands. A small white undermount sink is fitted into the worktop, with space below for an under-counter mini fridge.
