Custom TV and Display Unit with LED Shelving in Ealing, London

For this Ealing project, we designed and built a made-to-measure wall unit that brings the television, display shelving and closed storage together. Measuring 3,383mm wide and 2,290mm high, it uses the broad wall while leaving a clear central space around the existing television. 

The unit stops below the ceiling, keeping the top open as requested, and provides plenty of display and cupboard space. Projects like this form part of our Custom TV & Entertainment Units service.

Open Display Shelving with Integrated LED Lighting

The open sections feature 25mm MDF shelves and dividers, with a 25mm worktop running across the base. At 260mm deep, the upper shelving provides room for books, ornaments and other display pieces without projecting too far into the room. 

Integrated LED lighting beneath the display shelves casts light across each section and also provides background lighting for the room. This combination of storage and display is also part of our Custom Built-In Shelving service.

Deep Storage with Handleless Doors

Below the worktop, the 600mm-high base is 350mm deep, giving the client space for items that are better kept out of sight. Internal shelves organise the cupboards, while plain push-to-open doors keep the front free from handles. 

We constructed the complete unit from MDF and supplied it unpainted, ready for decoration. Every section was designed by Wood Fairy to suit the wall, the television and the client’s storage needs. Homeowners planning fitted cabinetry locally can also explore our Carpenter Ealing service.
