Custom TV and L-Shaped Office Units in Burstow, Outwood

For this project in Burstow, near Outwood, we created two separate fitted installations: a large TV and display unit for the living room and an L-shaped office unit with a long desk. Each design was made around its room, using the available wall space to combine open display areas, practical work surfaces and enclosed storage without relying on separate furniture.

TV and Display Unit with Oak Shelves and LED Lighting

The TV unit spans most of one wall, with a large central recess for the television and open display sections on both sides. We fitted oak shelves within the roller-painted MDF structure, adding LED lighting to illuminate books, ornaments and other displayed items.

Below, eight Shaker-style doors close off a long bank of cupboards with internal shelves. The installation combines custom TV & entertainment units with custom built in shelving while keeping cables and media equipment within the central section.

L-Shaped Office Unit with Fitted Desk and Storage

The office installation follows an L-shaped layout beneath the window and continues into a tall shelving unit at the end of the desk. The long work surface provides a dedicated computer area, with cupboards beneath for files and office supplies.

Open upper compartments offer additional shelving, and integrated lighting illuminates the top sections. The arrangement applies our approach to custom office carpentry services directly to the available floor plan and the way the client needed to work in the room.
